Executive Summary
July 10 trial date set for the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York to assess the validity of Medinol's '381 patent related to the flexibility of its coronary stents. If Medinol's claims hold, the jury will set damages based on Guidant's infringement of the Israeli firm's patent.
