Firm will pursue relaunch of extended-wear contact lens sales in Germany following European Patent Office revocation of key patent held by Novartis AG/CIBA Vision Sept. 17. The device debuted in Germany in 1999, but sales ceased in April with a Dusseldorf court's initial infringement ruling.
