Executive Summary
Eight-year-old Vessix Vascular Inc. (formerly Minnow Medical; developed a percutaneous balloon catheter) has raised $23mm through its Series B venture round. Edmond de Rothschild Investment Partners led and was joined by fellow new backers OrbiMed Advisors and CDF Dinova Venture Partners as well as returning shareholders NeoMed Management, Christopher Weil & Co., and Fjord Invest. Edmond de Rothschild and OrbiMed will each contribute one board member.
