Healionics (biomaterials) has raised $1.3mm of a planned $6mm Series B venture round. The company will use the funds for preclinical studies of its Sphere Templated Angiogenic Regeneration (STAR) biomaterial for aesthetic applications, obesity, diabetes, wound care, and infusion devices and to refine the manufacturing process.
