Transoma Medical (implantable wireless diagnostic systems for chronic cardiovascular disease patients) has raised $13mm through its Series C venture round that included investments by previous backers Canaan Partners, Affinity Capital Management, and Polaris Venture Partners. The money will help launch the company's first product, the Sleuth implantable ECG monitor, which is under FDA review.
