New YSL fragrance bowing in fall 2001 expected to lead to high single-digit revenue increase at YSL Beaute next year, company reports Dec. 14. YSL Beaute cosmetics revenue increased 3.3% to $34.9 mil. in third quarter due to "strong makeup sales." Cosmetics were sole bright spot, however, as all other YSL Beaute segments saw double-digit decreases. Fragrance sales were down 16.7% to $75.8 mil. in the period; overall YSL Beaute revenue fell 13.4% to $161.9 mil. Gucci attributes declines to Euro depreciation. Except for cosmetics, which jumped 11.2% to $106.1 mil. nine-month performances also were down throughout the Gucci Group division
