CANADIAN CIMETIDINE 100 MG Rx-TO-OTC SWITCH PROPOSED by Health Canada in the Nov. 16 issue of Canada Gazette, the country's Federal Register equivalent. "This deregulatory initiative will permit cimetidine tablets to be available without a prescription," the notice states. The proposal is open to public comment for 30 days following publication. There is no marketing exclusivity granted for switch applications in Canada.
