CHROMIUM SUPPLEMENTATION HAD "NO BENEFICIAL EFFECT" ON STRENGTH GAIN or body composition in men who participated in a weight training program during an eight-week study published in the June American Journal of Clinical Nutrition. Henry Lukaski, U.S. Department of Agriculture Grand Forks Human Nutrition Research Center and the University of North Dakota, et al. concluded that "chromium supplementation of young men participating in a controlled strength-training program elicited no beneficial effects on muscle accretion, fat loss, or strength gain."
