NIH OFFICE OF rDNA ACTIVITIES PLANNING FOR GENE POLICY CONFERENCES as a means to ensure continued open discussion of gene therapy following the planned abolition of the National Institutes of Health Recombinant DNA Advisory Committee. ORDA envisions the conferences as two-day meetings, bringing ethicists, lawyers and public advisors together to discuss issues in gene therapy such as safety, in utero gene therapy, human subjects and vector development.
