Executive Summary

Jim Frakes has become the new chief financial officer of Aethlon Medical, a specialist in therapeutic filtration devices for treating infectious diseases and cancer. Mr Frakes previously held the position of senior vice president of finance at the San Diego, California firm, a role he began in a part-time capacity in 2008. Before joining Aethlon, he served as CFO for four different publicly-listed firms over a 16-year period across a range of industries including interactive entertainment. Mr Frakes succeeds James Joyce who was acting as CFO as well as being the company’s chairman and CEO.
