Executive Summary

Tecnol Medical Products (US) has purchased Sparta Surgical's woundcare product line for $5.7 million. This product range had sales of about $4 million in the 12 months to November 1995. Tecnol is a manufacturer of disposable medical products and CEO Van Hubbard says the acquisition "brings us a diversified product line of impregnated dressings that complements the dressings programme which we have been developing over the past two years".
