An Indonesian fishing company now requires certificates from Thai seamen applying for jobs stating that they do not have AIDS. The seamen are being blamed for spreading HIV in the Fakfak region of Irian Jaya province, where the headquarters of the company, PT Istana Samudera, are based, says the US CDC.
