Executive Summary

Human Interfaces (Germany) has developed software which creates a 3D image of the human body based on data gained in CT and MRI examinations. The program, Anatomie-Atlas Digihom, is intended as a teaching aid for medical training, enabling the study of the structure and function of parts of the body. It is possible to vary factors such as gender, race and age with immediate effect on the image. Software for the skeleton has been developed and models are planned for the brain, eyes, ears and liver, reports Arzte Zeitung.
