In the six months to August 31st, 1995, Seton Healthcare (UK) saw sales grow 34% to £35.37 million ($55 million) and operating profit increase 54% to £6.52 million. Sales by the medical division grew 12%, contributing £12.71 million (or 36%) to Group turnover. Seton entered the incontinence market in September with the acquisition of Simplex for £20 million (see Clinica No 674, p 12).
