Clarification needed over Greek authority:

Executive Summary
The lead expert at the Greek Competent Authority for medical devices, Mr E Papadeus, has written to the Health Minister for clarification of his department's role. Some three months ago it became clear that the Health Ministry's biomedical division was to lose its Competent Authority role, but no successor has been named. Mr Papadeus continues his responsibilities, although support is apparently lacking. Indications are that the duties will soon pass to Mr Ktenas at the National Drugs Organisation, a semi-autonomous Health Ministry department. Mr Ktenas attended the 2nd Euromedies workshop in Athens in September, where Mr Papadeus was noticeably absent.
