Executive Summary
Stenting looks promising in renal artery disease, says a group of radiologists from Utrecht University in the Netherlands. Writing in The Lancet (September 9th), they say that stenting with J&J Interventional Systems' Palmaz stent was successful in revascularising all of a group of 24 hypertensive patients with critical atherosclerotic ostial renal artery stenosis.
