St Paul Medical (US) is several steps closer to marketing Key-Lok, its needleless IV product, following Interhospital in Hanover, Germany. The development-phase company says it is negotiating business alliances covering the EU, Middle East, North America and parts of the Far East. Key-Lok uses a blunt plastic cannula and self-sealing injection ports instead of the usual needle and latex.
