Israel's Labour and Social Affairs Committee has called for a series of measures to tackle AIDS, including the reduction of taxes on condoms. Dr Zvi Ben-Yishai, chairman of the Health Ministry's steering committee on AIDS, says 328 people in Israel have developed AIDS, of whom 245 have died. He supports "discreet, but not anonymous" testing.
