Aurora Technology has received 510(k) clearance from the FDA to market its Sunrise diagnostic workstation in the US. The workstation is an imaging system designed specifically for high-volume review of radiological images. It has high-speed compression and zoom capabilities based on technology developed for the University of Chicago Hospitals and can review both scanned X-ray film and computed radiographs.
