Spanish centre develops cardiac arrhythmia software

The Institute of cybernetics at Barcelona's University Polytechnic has developed a software system to assist in cardiac arrhythmia diagnosis. The saydac system can identify 48 different arrhythmias and has a much larger range than systems already on the market, Pere Caminal, director of the institute told Clinica. The system was jointly developed by five centres, including four in Catalonia and the Varsovia Clinic in Poland.
