Executive Summary
CardioDynamics International is planning multicentre US trials of its non-invasive, digital cardiac output monitoring system, BioZ. The studies will focus on use of the system in hypertension, congestive heart failure, dialysis, critical care, anaesthesiology and high-risk pregnancies. CardioDynamics says each arm will include about 50 patients and will measure outcomes and cost-effectiveness. The trials are expected to last between two and three months.
