Siemens has launched its Mobilett Plus E basic mobile chest X- ray unit. The system is suited for use where space is limited such as along bedsides, in intensive care units, emergency rooms, central X-ray departments, paediatric wards and operating theatres. It can run from a standard electricity supply point and has a power output of 20 kW.
