St Jude's Pacesetter subsidiary has amended its patent infringement suit against Guidant's CPI unit to include several patents held by Angeion. The suit was filed by Pacesetter in the federal district court of Delaware on May 3rd (see Clinica No 705, p 13). Pacesetter says Angeion will join it in vigorously asserting the pacing and defibrillator patents named in the suit.
