Thailand's Ministry of Public Health has postponed the introduction of compulsory premarket registration for HIV test kits to July 20th (see Clinica No 675, p 6). The move is intended to give manufacturers more time to prepare for the new legislation, reports Asian Hospital. The Ministry also intends to standardise HIV testing methods in all the hospitals under its administration.
