Minntech's Biocor hardshell venous reservoir has received 510(k) clearance from the US FDA (see Clinica No 672, p 14). The reservoir gathers a patient's blood and channels it into the Biocor high performance oxygenator. The oxygenator is a cardiosurgery device which replaces lung function during open heart surgery.
