Executive Summary
The level of mercury in amalgam fillings is to be investigated in a group of 2,000-3,000 Germans by using a saliva test. The study is the initiative of the Momo Foundation for Children, Environment and Health and Tubingen University and their results will be published in May. A study last year at Tubingen University of 400 people showed that 28% of those tested had mercury levels that were higher than the daily amount recommended by the World Health Organisation.
