US digital film conversion company Lumisys has acquired CompuRAD in a stock deal. The combined company will focus on offering hardware and software components to Medical Image Management systems suppliers, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and re-sellers. Stockholders of the software company will receive 0.928 shares of Lumisys common stock for each share of CompuRAD's.
