Executive Summary
Total Renal Care has bought six more dialysis facilities adding more than 1,000 patients, bringing the total to over 13,000. The separate deals add centres in areas in which the company already has representation including Detroit, Los Angeles, Chicago and Washington. TRL has also bought the dialysis departments of two Puerto Rican hospitals. At the same time TRL has been appointed by MedPartners, the largest physician management company in the US, to develop renal disease management in Southern California.
