Executive Summary
Dynagen has filed a US patent application for a machine that tracks and displays the position of a scalpel and other instruments during surgery, in particular breast biopsies. The BioLocator should make locating a tumour easier and the biopsy procedure quicker and less traumatic, says Dynagen. More than 750,000 women in the US require biopsies for breast cancer each year. Dynagen has licensed the worldwide rights to the BioLocator technology from Boston-based BioLoc.
