Executive Summary

Diagnostic Products is to have exclusive, worldwide distribution rights to CAM 17.1, a pancreatic cancer screening marker, following an agreement with the University of Liverpool, UK. The US company will begin distribution in Europe and some other countries in the second quarter of 1997. Diagnostic Products plans to file an application with the US FDA in 1998. Pancreatic cancer kills more than 180,000 people worldwide annually.
