Executive Summary

Johnson & Johnson is to invest IR£31 million ($52 million) in a manufacturing operation and technical support centre for orthopaedic products in Ringaskiddy, Ireland. The new plant will manufacture hip and knee joints for worldwide markets as well as a wider range of products for the European market. The investment, which is being supported by the Industrial Development Agency of Ireland, will create 300 new jobs over the next three years.
