Irish diagnostics company Biotrin has opened its first sales office in the US. Located in Boston, Massachusetts, the office will enable the Dublin-based company to target its research industry customers on the East coast more effectively. Although Biotrin's most important products are still in development, it recorded sales of I£2.5 million ($3.7 million) in 1997.
