Executive Summary
ETEX has CE-marked its bone substitute material, alpha-BSM. Made from calcium phosphate, the product has an endothermic hardening property. It is a mouldable or injectable putty at room temperature and is only hardened by the patient's body temperature when used to treat fractures or bone voids. Alpha-BSM will be marketed in Europe by the company's partner, Merck Biomaterial.
