US agency to survey female cancer screening:

This article was originally published in Clinica

Executive Summary

The National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health, part of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, plans to survey 2,250 older women who have received mammogram and cervical cancer screening through its free programme for low-income and medically under-served women. The survey will cover women aged between 50 and 73, an age group which should be screened every year or two because the women are considered at higher risk. They will be asked about their experiences with mammography screening to help researchers estimate re-screening rates and identify factors associated with timely re-screening.
