Advanced Spine claims LIFEC coup:

This article was originally published in Clinica

Executive Summary

Advanced Spine Fixation Systems, producer of the Varigrip Spinal Implant System, has gained exclusive worldwide marketing and distribution rights for the LIFEC Expandable Cage Implant System. The company says that LIFEC is the first expandable, implantable cage. Its expansion provides a strong bone-to-cage fixation, while assisting in retaining lordosis. Advanced says that there is virtually no migration risk with the product. According to Irvine, California-based Advanced, a number of the major orthopaedic and spine instrumentation companies were actively attempting to acquire the LIFEC rights.
