Executive Summary

SonoSight, which was spun off to shareholders in April by its former parent ATL Ultrasound(both based in Bothell, Washington), has granted exclusive US distribution rights to its handheld ultrasound products. PSS World Medical will launch the first of the range, targeted to be on sale by the second half of 1999. It is a battery-operated, primary diagnostic tool, designed for the women's healthcare market and aimed at the in-office physician.
