University College Hospital in Galway, Ireland, is to spend I£43 million ($59 million) on the second phase of a redevelopment plan which will include MRI, coronary care and cardiac surgery units. A new radiology department is still awaiting approval, but is scheduled to be built under this phase, which is expected to take three years to complete.
