PowderJect Pharmaceuticals, a UK developer of powder injection systems, has appointed Dr Steven Prestrelski to the new post of vice-president of biopharmaceuticals. Dr Prestrelski, who joins from Alza, a US drug delivery company, will oversee PowderJect's efforts in formulating biomolecules for delivery by the PowderJect device.
