UK scrutiny of genetic testing:

Executive Summary
The UK Human Genetics Advisory Commission is to set up a study group to look at the issues surrounding the use of genetic testing in the workplace. It is concerned that, as more tests become available, employers could use them and subsequently discriminate against people shown to have the possibility of developing an illness despite the fact that there is no certainty they will eventually suffer from the disease. The new study group will meet in the next two months to set out its terms of reference.
