ChemTrak, a Sunnyvale, California-based company which has a portfolio of in-home and doctor's office tests, has raised $1 million in a private financing with a further tranche of $2 million planned later in the quarter. The company plans to spend the money in continuing the roll-out of its Parent's Alert home drug-test service, a market worth a potential $165 million according to the company.
