As part of its three-year agreement with UNAIDS (the UN agency working on HIV prevention), The Female Health Company has reached agreement with the Ugandan government to sell 1.2 million female condoms to that country. The Chicago-based Female Health owns the worldwide rights to the product. The company has launched it in ten markets and is in discussions with three more African countries, which are preparing anti-AIDS programmes.
