Executive Summary
The European market for electromedical equipment will reach about $3 billion by the end of 1999, predicts COCIR, the European Co-ordination Committee of the Radiological and Electromedical Industries. This represents a 3% increase on last year's performance but growth is expected to slow to about 1% during 2000. The slowdown is largely due to continued cost containment policies in Europe's healthcare sector, says COCIR.
