India is to continue its efforts to stem the rise in HIV prevalence with a further loan of nearly $200 million from the World Bank. The country's national AIDS control organisation will use the money, to be provided over the next five years, to implement strategies for monitoring donor blood and to promote AIDS awareness and prevention.
