Executive Summary

Houston, Texas-based Positron has received Japanese approval to market its line of Posicam-HZ positron emission tomography scanners. The systems are designed for use in cardiology, neurology and oncology applications. Imatron-Japan, the exclusive Japanese distributor of the scanners, predicts that of more than 500 systems will be installed in Japan within the next five years.
