Advances in cryoablation have led to improved outcomes in prostate cancer patients, urologists at Crittenton Hospital in Rochester, Michigan have found. Nearly 98% of patients treated with a minimally invasive technique known as targeted cryosurgery were free of cancer after six months, researchers Dr Fred Lee and Dr Duke Bahn report in the July issue of Urology.
