Beckman Coulter has introduced the latest in its Epics line of flow cytometers, the Epics XL-MCL instrument, which offers 'single-platform' white cell counting combined with 'walk-away' functionality. Targeted at both the clinical and research markets, the system employs novel software that eliminates potential sources of error inherent in conventional systems, the company says. The instrument is available in both Europe and the US.
