Executive Summary

The first patient treated for angina with PLC Systems' transmyocardial revascularisation (TMR) Heart Laser System has now survived 10 years with no relapse. Errol Taylor, who is now 93 years old, was the first treated with TMR in 1990 at the San Francisco Heart Institute at Daly City, California, to reduce his angina and restore the blood flow to his heart. PLC's Heart Laser system received FDA approval in 1998.
