Integrated Surgical Systems integrates planning for total hip system:

This article was originally published in Clinica

Executive Summary

Integrated Surgical Systems (ISS) has introduced its total hip system planning application module for its ROBODOC surgical assistant system. The module will allow surgeons to integrate planning of both the acetabulum cup and the femoral stem in one step. Surgeons will be able to take one CT scan of the femur and pelvis instead of two separate scans and they will be able to plan for the entire hip system in a three-dimensional mode, says ISS of Davis, California.
