Fischer files patent suit against Hologic:

Executive Summary

Fischer Imaging has filed a patent infringement suit against Hologic and its distributors in France and Germany. The suit alleges infringement of European patent No 0625024, relating to key features used in prone stereotactic breast biopsy systems. Fischer is also asking for an injunction on sale of the relevant products in France and Germany. Last month, Fischer filed suit against Hologic in the US, alleging wilful infringement of a US patent.
