Stryker (Kalamazoo, California) has announced a series of appointments in preparation for the forthcoming retirement of the vice-president of Stryker and president of Stryker Pacific, William Laube. James Lawson, the current group president of Stryker International, will assume responsibility of Stryker Pacific in addition to those he currently holds in Europe and Japan. Andrew Fox-Smith, the current managing director of UK-Ireland-South Africa, has been promoted to the post of vice-president and general manager of Stryker Pacific. Mr Fox-Smith's predecessor, Patrick Beyer, has been named managing director of Stryker UK-Ireland-South Africa. James Cunniff, the current vice-president of marketing for Stryker Medical, has been promoted to vice-president and general manager of Stryker Medical.
